Critical Path leads in services and solutions for messaging
TURIN, Italy – June 30th, 2010 – Critical Path S.P.A., a leading provider of messaging software and services, is pleased to announce that Postecom S.P.A. (Italian Postal Services Group) has partnered with Critical Path as a technology provider for the delivery of Certified Electronic Communication services for Italian citizens. Certified Electronic Communication is an initiative to reduce the digital divide between Italian citizens and Italian Public Administration.
Every citizen can receive a personal certified identity to exchange information with government agencies. The initiative provides for certified personal identities, public electronic addresses for frequently used services and secure document storage capability.Postecom selected Critical Path, through a tender, as a key technology provider in this initiative on the basis of its extensive experience and proven capability for providing large scale messaging services, including government and company-certified CNIPA Electronic Certified Email Services.
